Technical subprocessors
Version 2026-08-29. These providers help operate DocTime under their contractual data-protection commitments.
Google Cloud and Firebase
Firebase Authentication provides sign-in, Realtime Database stores structured data, Cloud Storage stores documents, Cloud Functions runs server processes and Firebase Hosting serves the application. The Realtime Database is configured in Europe; some Google Calendar functions currently run in the United States.
Google Calendar — optional
When enabled, DocTime creates a dedicated calendar and copies appointments to it. Medical notes, documents and payment information are not transferred. Practitioners can select anonymous display and revoke access at any time.
Stripe — subscription and billing
Stripe processes the legal or business name, billing address, VAT and company numbers when supplied, payment method, invoices and subscription status. DocTime stores only the technical identifiers, subscription status and invoice-delivery status required for the service; full bank-card details are never stored in the DocTime database.
OVHcloud and Twilio
OVHcloud delivers account, confirmation and billing emails. A DocTime invoice email contains its number, period, amounts and secure Stripe link. When a practitioner requests a confirmation, the patient’s mobile number is sent to Twilio with the name, date, time, location and practitioner name. No clinical notes or medical documents are transferred.
Commitments
DocTime keeps this list current, limits access to what is necessary and frames applicable international transfers. Material changes will be notified according to the processing agreement.
